Hope Breaks Heartbreak

It seems as though the night has flooded the day.
There is little consolation brought about.
The anguish corrupts what is left of the heart.
And a deafening silence to be echoed out.

It seems as though a simple move will cause the earth to quake.
And a gentle breath awakes the storm.
The protective fortress no longer withholds the break.
As the structured amour loses its form.

All falls down and the dust begins to ease.
The anguish and fear that once invaded grows weak
There is again a glimpse of light in the eyes.
Though small and weary, vulnerable and meek
It is this hope that prevents demise.
