A hull halve
I am a boat
Guided by the great light
My beloved captain I tote
Sailing into stormy night
My sails fill with wind
My hull lurches fowards
I felt the bend
Before the break in my boards
I go out to sea
But then unexpectedly
I realize there is an abundance
Of water inside me
My captain said that my boards would not break
It turns out his confidence was more than just fake
It was true betrayal, I was too old for his taste
And just for me, his heart was not chaste
Though a boat I am not
And captain I do not have
My love has left me to rot
Taking of my heart, a hull halve.
