Humanity

Teeth bared in the moonlight

As blood drips down her face

The look on his face is priceless,

He just stares in disbelief

Why should she hold on

To what she once was

Her weak willed humanity

Did nothing but bring her tears

Finally she is free

To do as she pleases

No more pain to stop her

She is truly unstoppable to all

Laughing as he turns away

Tears brimming in his eyes

He still fights to hold on

To that worthless thing called love

DAMMIT she hears him scream

As he whirls back around

He charges straight at her

And shock riddles her instincts

His body lands on top of hers

And he shakes her hard again

His tears soak her shirt

And the blood begins to rinse away

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU

WHO ARE YOU NOW

GODDAMNIT YOU ARENT REAL

I LOVED WHO YOU WERE

She shoves him off full force

Anger filling her veins

For he will never understand

This is now her entirety

HOW WOULD YOU KNOW ME

WHEN I HID BEHIND A MASK

FINALY I AM HAPPY AND FREE

AND NOW YOU TRY TO TAKE IT ALL AWAY

She sprints far away from him

Almost flying in her rage

Never was he ever really hers

He wanted an unbroken angel

She laughs into the wind

Bare feet hit silently on the forest floor

Never will she hurt again

She is now, truly, alive.
