I am the sun

I think you took something from me

I don't want it back:

The fire in my heart,

The music in my eyes,

The sea inside my fingertips

I am the morning sun, and I don't want it back.

You spoke about sparkling waves and dancing stars,

You told me this world wasn't made for the both of us

But there is an easier way to leave;

I am the sun, and you took something from me.
