I belong to heirs who were kings and queens
Yet somewhere my royals were deceived
Token stolen with no explanation no fear no regret
Killing much of my people hope for over 400 years
Yet still I belong.
I belong
I belong to vigorous leaders
Those who blood stained
Red these cold narrow pave
Meant for all hue of shades to walk
Proudly strongly boldly
Knowing that we you
I do belong.
The truth that I belong is not some myth or fortune telling
But yet it’s a reality that’s patiently waiting to be told right
To the mass of those who once opposed us.
I am living proof of the prophet who once had a dream
Interpreting that I to will soon belong
In this cruel world who’s intended plan was to aband
Damn upon me leaving me trapped
In confusion deluding me from the truth that
I do belong.
As written in stone I was made in an image that is greater than any man
I cling to the face that I was born a queen
Because my father I am told
Is Art Thy Holy King.
It was he who whispered in my ear
These tender yet so powerful words that I must share
Speaking what I only know will someday be clear
To the Blind to the deaf to the mute
That we you
I do belong.
