As I look around all I see is false images of what we were supposed to be
I see the false image that portrayed on television
Oh the ignorance
But as I look around, very few I see, coming together as one
to help build the unity wall that great pioneers once started
This wall holds the blood sweat and tears of many that we just see as cheerful
But let us not forget, they also had troubles
and we still face those troubles
These problems may be minuscule to us now
Oh because we have a black president
But not even he can stop these troubles
Ironically this wall that we build will help us realize that we all can come together
come together and be strong and protect one another
As I look around, one day, I hope to see this wall hand in hand helping each other, as one
end what was a social barrier
