I Stand Watching, From Far, The Liberty

I stand watching, from far, the liberty
Bell. Shining, reflecting, from the sun glare
Wanting to understand it completely.

Dark copper constructs her ability
To toll. From here her gold and silver stare,
Seducing me, I get close. Around me

Marble walls and floors, their simplicity,
With stillness absorbing the bare bell’s flare.
I desire equal opportunity

To intrude into her captivity.
My contribution, I only think fair,
Shall be use her malleability.

What impedes me? Susceptibility,
Reliability, her crack was there
From the start. Lack of possibility,

Overtakes in whole of her misery,
Silently, enclosed by bars of silver.
I stand watching, from far, the liberty
Wanting to understand it completely.
