If Only I could Change It

Location

There's too much discrimination, too many uncaring hearts,

Some people only laugh when others are torn apart.

Whether its racism or sexuality, no one seems to care,

If they are not the same based on beliefs, skin and hair.

If only I could change it, I would take it all away

For I have seen and felt the pain many times and ways.

Some don't understand words hurt, others feel the pain

Being gay, atheist, or black, shouldn't ever be a reason to be attacked.

If only I could change it, I would make everyone understand

What its like to be different, looked down on, and left out

Because of who the are and what they think about.

Then, maybe then, I hope the world will see,

Discrimination is uncalled for, lets live in peace and unity.
