If Time Rewinds

If time would rewind I would change a lot

The day my mother was lying down in that spot

Shots were fired in the morning hours

Man, I'm glad wasn't in the shower

Every one in the house was in pain

After a while, the police came

Questions, blood, and sirens were heard

I wanted to get away from all of my mother's blood

As I made it to the hospital, I panicked

Seeing my mother lye there, I was frantic

Today, she has recovered but she still can't do as much as she did

I'm just glad that my mother is still alive in the end
