invisible light, visible darkness, what do i see?

I do not seek power or glory. I seek freedom and justice for the victims. Those whose silence deafens our ears and harrows out our hearts. To turn around the heads of humanity and pull off the blindfold and earplugs out.

Others turn back saying nothing is there. Others say it's hopeless, Many don't turn around.

Except one turns around wondering how this could be. One sees the possibilities and tell of the hope to the others. One tells of the sunrise to the east in the darkness of night.

With each breath, the spirit wanes, no response or acknowledgement, only foolish determination, maybe fruitless endeavor.

The head slowly turns back , getting the blindfold and earplugs, but hesitates. One knows the sunrise is there, despite all of the dark moans and anguishes of the night.
