Just Because I Love You

Because I love you he says..

He says that the reason he kissed your cheeks with his fist,

Your tears and screams only motivate him to cause more damage.

Because I love you he says,

He says thats the reason you can't talk to anyone else,

whispering conspiracies of how they want to take you away from him

Because I love you he says,

he has to know where you are at all times, not trusting you

saying its because you'll leave him and

Because you think you love him,

You stay with him,

You reassure him that you wont go anywhere, telling him no one can take you from him.

You tell yourself that instead of his fists it'll be his lips that kiss your skin,

but instead of anger it'll be passion in his eyes.

You tell yourself that the fear you feel is the fear of him hurting himself if you leave

Instead of fear of him hurting you if you stay.

That is not love

No that love twisted and distorted into manipulation.

Love is raw and untempered with

love is being able to put your heart in the palms of someone hands

its about trust and admiration

Love is when you grow gardens with in each other, nurturing and encouraging each other to grow and blossom into something powerful.

Love is having strength with in your own self but once you both come together

you both have the power to take over worlds.

Love is a give and take,

You both are equals you give just as much as you take.

Love is knowing when to push and knowing when to stand back, being able to say sorry I was wrong

and knowing you'll do everything in your power the tear stop falling, not start.

That is love.
