La Mia Musa (My Muse)

Morning mist envelopes
shivering grass.
Awoken amongst emerald spheres,
a universe brightens.
A sunrise beckoning change.
Dew transforms,
sunrise quarts emerging
to sashay in awakened glory.
Mother Nature flourishing
her raw elegance.
Sunlight tip toes across
freckles
caressing worried, wondering,
creases.
Beings intertwine, interlocking,
instigating sanity.
A soul enlightened, renews.
In all things love
I find only you.

ZaidGarland

I wrote this after a long stint of writers block. I found inspiration in the world around me, the transformation I'm going through as a transgender ftm, and from the beauty our earth still holds. I wanted it to be simple and beautiful, but also strong and powerful.
