Learn

I've learned a great big deal this year

and changed so much; but never fear

I'll still engorge upon your ear

something that you've ought to hear

I learned to love, to let go and even

its okay to be mad if you have good reason,

and if the tides should change with the season,

my love should not be seen as treason.

I've learned to fight another day,

save facts and knoledge in a way

That procures victory with a simple "Hey,

Heres how I think this should be, okay?"

I've learned that whats right is not always easy,

and though things falter ever briefly,

the soul is best veiwed light and breezy,

No person should be considered measly.

I've learned above all that life is flawed

but that does not mean we bear our claws

and curse the need for social gauze

But instead fight to uphold human laws
