A Letter to Me

When curling up in a ball in bed

seems a worthwhile endeavor, remember

as you want freedom so do your children

that live in limbo of thought and light

you cannot wait until the mood's just right

for how are these children different

than the pictures of children eyes striving ever

for something other than shallow earthly death?
