The Letter You Never Opened (Alternating)

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 22:49 -- amp4117

Hello? Are you there?

I miss you.

This is just not fair.

The other day I found your missing shoe.

But how can I be the only one to care?

The one from last summer, the one that was blue.

I guess the pain was just too much to bare.

You were in disbelief, they were so new!

I still drift off in an endless stare,

Pondering if it was even true.

But slowly you faded, no longer there.

Your feet stank, worse than a zoo.

But how can I be the only one to care?

The other day I found your missing shoe.

This is just not fair.

I miss you.

Hello? Are you there?
