Life as we Know It

Hatred, love, cruelty, kindness

You get the gist

Seeing hugs and kisses, then guns and death

This is life as we know it

Do you ever see happiness, smiles, laughter, and fun

And think, Life is good

Life might be good, but only for a little bit

Violence and death is prone to occur

Especially in the world we live in today

You must admit

But for no one to care is a hard gulp to swallow

It's sad to say that sometimes we just have to brace the hit
