Life's Clock

Life's Clock

By: Katelyn DeShane

Tick-tock

the hands turn

round and round.

When you're young

it's a pleasant sound.

Tick-tock

day to night

You’re in your prime

but you think, “it’s okay,

I still have time”

Tick-tock

year in year out

the future is here.

You have grown so old

But forgot to live, that's clear.
