We are born with it the power to choose

This power is important with it you cannot lose

But the choices we make define our fates

With this in mind must we be allowed to make mistakes?

Creatures of habit comforted by what we know

Unwilling to begin a second road

I feel our choices are limiting, we follow what we know, afraid of a little change

I don’t want to be like them

I want more I want that little change

Must we all be professors must we all dress the same

Can’t we go to the unknown and make it our own

Must we hate them for we do not understand them?

Or become curious and learn from them

They speak the truth do what you love

But we respond doing our hearts unjust

Why does this occur?

Should you invest in a career your heart does not desire for it pays more

Or follow your heart and enjoy what you do
