Life's Yesterday

Location

Libertad,Butuan City
Street 7
Philippines

I am kid growing small and weak.
That benefits the love and discipline,
From my beloved parents.
I play without toys,
For we are in stage of poverty.
I play with kids outside,
I play with the girls and boys.
I remember such time when it rains.We're like frogs leaping in joy,
Playing under the rain and in the mud.
My childhood was simple.
We build our own playhouse,
That is made of sticks,ropes,and cloth.
We sell food but just the wrappers,
We accept the bill and give the change;
Which is just a metal cap of bottle,
And a scratch of paper we use in school. Sometimes I used to escape,
And leave my parents just to play.But when I got home,
I got words from my parents all the way.
Sometimes I'm bullied in the school campus,
Got kicked and punch away,
By those big bully's strong fist.
No one helps me except my parents,
For those bully are favored;
Cause they think he is useful than me.
Intelligent but useless brain,
If I would to describe him.
Someday I'll rise up and he'll go down.
He'll lose and I'll succeed.
