Little Doe

Mon, 10/30/2017 - 15:29 -- Jaemy

Fluffy black hair cut short and eyes like a does,
Feelings like a chocolate fondue fountain, it flows
No letting it go, what we have I feel is true
It grows but breathes, my love for you.

Perhaps there have been bumps, a miscommunication here and there
Where you believed you were doing wrong
Because some chump told you so.
But I’m here to tell you, you’ve been more than fair.

For that is love,

When you trust me to trust you and to
Share our tender feelings within our little, secret cove.

When you look at me with admiration but not
Idolization
For we are the kings and queens of our own kingdoms brought together by love to rule together.

When we see each other for grandeur but also the imperfections that make us
For we are but little diamonds in the rough.

When we hug and pass shy kisses at the steps of the stairs before class,
For we try not to forget each other’s impression.

The fluttery feeling and longing, the trust and security,
For when we’re together I am that much happier.

That is love.

So little doe with fluffy black hair,
Keep presenting that proud air.
Keep pursuing your dreams, chin high.
No need to change yourself or company
Because at the end of the day,
I love you for you and you should too.
