Little Red [From the] Hood

Once upon a time in a dusty wood
There was a girl named Lil' Red From the Hood
She had skin so brown and teeth so white
This girl even knew how to put up a fight

Our girl Lil' Red went out one day
To get some treats in the middle of May
She told her mama she'd be gone for a while
"I'll be back later," she said with a smile

As Lil' Red walked down the beaten path
She thought of a joke and began to laugh
Then she heard a strange sound from among the trees
She thought "Maybe it's just some birds or bees"

The forest she is in gets a little bit dark
So Lil' Red decides to light up a spark
She makes it out fine and sees the house
And she runs, taking care not to mess up her blouse

Knock, knock, knock, she opens the door
If there was someone there, there wasn't anymore
Plates were strewn about the kitchen floor
The entire place was ransacked, but what for?

Lil' Red peeked into her grandmother's room
A wolf in Granny's clothing! Is our hero just doomed?
Of course not, guys, Lil' Red ain't no fool
She learned about this type of thing in school

She took one step forward and BOOM! POW! WHAM!
She punched and kicked the wolf, who began to scram
Then Lil' Red shouted, "Hey, not so fast!
Surrender my grandma or I'm kicking your ass!"

He knew from this she wasn't messing around
So he went to the closet to reveal Granny bound!
Lil' Red let her free and untied her ropes
The wolf tried to get away, but Lil' Red said "Nope!"

She dropkicked the wolf and karate-chopped his head
"You come back here, better consider yourself dead!"
The wolf ran far away, never to return
For our girl had a fire that continued to burn

Lil' Red From the Hood had saved the day
As she and Granny said "Hip, hip, hooray!"
They threw a big kickback and invited the village
Knowing the wolf would never come back to pillage

There was food and drinks and music galore
Then Lil' Red heard a knock at the door
It was the wolf, AGAIN! "Man, what do you want?"
"Heard there was a party and you had croissants"

"Boy, if you don't..." she said with a glare
The wolf walked out. "This is just not fair!"
Lil' Red slammed the door and went back to the party
Where everyone, even Granny, continued to party hardy.

The fest kept going until crack of dawn
"I'm going back home," said Lil' Red with a yawn
She kissed Granny goodbye and said, "Have a great day!"
Then she walked out the door and was well on her way.
