Losing My Religionq

God, it seems like you even don’t care

Maybe that’s why life’s unfair

But why should life be so hard

Because two people were off their guard

But they say you work in mysterious ways

It’s like a puzzle, or a maze

Only it’s in your image we are made

So why get mad when out of wedlock we get laid

And how about another one of those virgin births

And when is Jesus coming back to earth?

It’s a sin to say the lords name in vain

Jesus Christ that’s insane

Exodus says slavery is okay

Leviticus says it’s eternal damnation, to be gay?

That’s a rough pill to swallow

When it comes to your book god, I don’t follow

I’ve tried to find you but in my persistence

I still see no sign of existence

All I see is war, famine, and death

If your waiting for me to believe god, don’t hold your breath
