Love is Blind

Love is blind,
Not a soul can deny
The blood that flowed
Into Our Savior's eyes.

The ultimate gift is given,
And even as time goes by,
There is no greater love than this
That a man for his friends chooses to die.

It neither fades,
Nor does it sleep,
For Love as blind as this
Runs its courses deep.

For us men of evil desire,
For us men of shameful kind,
For us undeserving He gave all that He is,
Both Human and Divine.

Let no man dispute His justice,
But no man His mercy decline,
The red rivers of precious Blood prove
That yes, Love is blind.
