Loving is not a sin

Loving is not sinful

It is a passion that burns with desire

But you take the red can and extinguish their fire

The way they love is so vibrantly bright

But you feel the need to blow out the light

In sickness and in health, for better or for worse

But if it is the same, then it's a curse

This is America the land for all

But if you are different, then you are small

It should be calming and refreshingly free

But you have opinions on how it should be

It’s not a sin to be with  another,

But it can’t be your corresponding sister or brother?

Everyone deserves the warmth of their love

But you want to sit there and hold a grudge

You make them feel they should be ashamed

But you're not the one that feels their pain

Why do the hypocrites think they can decide,

Who someone pics as their groom or bride

You think that you can use your hate

To somehow magically make them straight

News flash to those who think they are right

You are the one that has lost sight

It is apparent that you don’t care

Unless the rules for you are fair

their love will continue to burn with desire

you will never take away their fire

do us a favor and keep your views within

Because judging someone is an actual sin
