Make America Gay Again

America the great.

America, the country where people get

shot by their own police officers because of the color of their skin.

America, the country where we have iPhones and hoverboards,

but we can't feed our own.

America, the country where people are still

murdered for loving the same sex gender.

America, the country where people think it is okay to

alienate an entire group just because "they take our jobs."

America, the country where I can get a McDonalds that is just

around the corner.

America, the country with the highest incarceration rate in the world.

America, the country that turns on its illegal immigrant veterans.

America, the country that bans refugees from the wars we have started.

America, the country that hates my mother, the lady who has raised

me for the past eighteen years just because of her nationality.

America, the country that hates the people who helped create it.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
