Make America Great Again, For Reals

Wed, 05/10/2017 - 23:53 -- bg4

Look around, do you see?
The many children starving while the rich get richer
What has society come to?
A lot of incivility throughout the generation
Where are the jobs?
Millions without
Why is there discrimination?
By age, color, gender, identity
The lack of opportunity
And a president who believes
Not in global warming
Make ‘America Great Again’?
World War III is coming
There is no need to panic
Listen to a Hispanic
Who implores for a change
That’s as far as the range
For you to know
Something that should have happened long ago

Persecution of the colored was always present
If loving your neighbor is absent
Then this America is dying
Supremacy was always the issue
People wanting power
As if it were the only thing to pursue
People keep clinging
And abiding by norms
Living life dead
America should start acting
As the country of opportunity
How is the economy?
Do you see the debt?
Increasing as human population, correct?
This country is falling
And I will not be standing with my arms crossing
Watching how the generations
Suffer from our terrible decisions
