Maleficent's Plan

I am depicted as the evil one.

Robes black, raven on my shoulder,

but this was not always so.

I was once a young girl,

With wings as brown as the earth.

I met a boy

his name was Stefan.

Our friendship grew

and blossomed into love.

But one night, my dreams were crushed.

He betrayed me.

Severed my wings from my back and in turn,

severed my heart from love.

My soul became black as midnight,

toward this man. No,

This BOY,

for a man would never do something so cruel.

We grew older. He found love.

I found hatred.

And he had a daughter.

A pretty young thing.

Aurora was her name,

meaning the dawn.

While he is living in the sunlight,

I will bring him into darkness.

He took from me what was precious,

I will make night fall on his "precious dawn".

She will sleep until she finds true love;

something proven unattainable.

And he will be cast into the shadows,

such as he did to me.
