MAMA

Fri, 12/01/2017 - 08:00 -- Joe_en

Mama be praying into the night, kid in the room engaged with porn

Society lays down regulations, we live by no norm

I made some real promises a couple of years after I was born

Few years after, they looked like crap, I'd rather make love at dawn

Who invested in these changes

I bet my mama be sobbing cos this change is

Giving her little boy some problems

And she be saying, "God but your word got my glimpse"

Meditated, sat him down, he was educated

Never looked like immorality gon be elevated

But she was filled with anxiety on hearing that every parent

Had the same issue, muse now segregrated

Mama be comparing both times; mine and hers

Drawn conclusions crazy, blaming the hearse

while staring at the dead is like blending religion for contradiction

A fella said. It's the change, don't focus too much on my diction

Mama talked about females

Clearly spelt out the details

She told her son to switch focus and respond to those integral emails

"You might hobnob soon so stop tolerating new tales"

Mama be starving to fetch her kid a meal

Kid ignorant of the fact that this can cost mama tomorrow's dew

The woman put her life down for her son

It's so obvious and more than likely to feel

Mama never made this kid miss the pew

Cos it's the best she prayed for, yeah, for real

Kid is thankful for the food on the table

I love horses, she made the family stable

I yearned for a record label

Mama got a cane but through His strength, I am able.
