The Man

I’m going to tell you a tall tale about a boy whose hopes would prevail because he saw to the end of the trail.  He saw past the thick mud and fallen trees and past the frost biting freeze and ignored the degrees of those who told him he would fail.  Instead he shouted and said he would succeed, he was meant to lead and no words would ever make him recede.  What he saw at the end of the road may have mattered little to you but it showed him that the end was worth his heavy load.  The times he realized he was on his own he pressed forward and though every bone inside him screamed he moved on towards the throne where his King sat.  Although the stakes were high and his body trembles and aches he ignores his past mistakes because he would win against his desire for sin and when his energy was wearing thin he did not pause.  He had seen too many pause and that had been the cause of their fall since they chose societies so-called laws.

So for the last time he soars above the town that never knew who he was yet the people were abuzz about the boy with blonde hair and blue eyes who escaped his demise by ignoring all the lies.

When he was sixteen years old he finally got told that he wasn’t going to fit into the mold.  He was meant to stand out because he took the route leading him to glory and soon, he’ll tell his story about the loves he’s had to leave and how he’s sorry.  So from the moment he was loud he finally stood apart from the crowd and there was nothing to shroud his vision or distract him from his mission and although he was wishing to make amends with those old friends he knew he had to let those end.  The journey’s been rough, the road has been steep, he broke promises he wishes he could keep but now all it takes is a leap.  Just a leap, just a jump to become the person he was meant to be and show his old friends so they could see that this boy had the key.  The key that got him out of this life filled with strife so this boy could be the man he was made to be.  A world changer.  Just like the guy who was born in manger, this man will do miracles in every stranger.  And just like the guy who was born in a stable no one will believe that the boy is able because they think he believes in a fairytale and a fable.  But they’re wrong.  He’s more than capable to change these lives and block the knives that have been hurled by the world.

So as he continues down this path the temptation to look back is strong but his determination not to crack is stronger and that is what is making him last longer.  There’s quite a ways to go but he will not grow tired because the prize at the end is what he has always desired.  He will forever be chasing the king he has always admired and no plan will stand that has been conspired against him.

Now the boy who became the man who became the difference because of his insistence to walk with the King and his resistance to give in to what everyone else tells him to do because this man follows what is true even though he doesn’t have a clue where he will be lead he will hold his head high and not dread what is to come.

The end
