Masks

We put on masks.

Pretty, ugly , dropout, lazy

We put on masks, step back and wait

Wait to be heard.

Heard through the muffled masks that are more about fitting in than indiviuality

We're so alone.

Clustered together in a pristine society

No room for mistakes.

A gilded cage

Smart, Athlete, punk, freak.

We scream through the masks.

Hoping.

Hoping that someday someone might realize that we are more than a title.

More than a plastered face

More than a form built to make others happy.

We are wild

We are free

We are the unheard voices

So i say to you,

Be loud

Stand tall

Take off your mask and repeat it with me

I Am Beautiful.

I Am Free.
