"Melting Pot" of The World

What does it mean to be free?

To be on your own

To be left alone

To not be under any control

Are people really free in America?

Of course

We're the land of the free

Everyone is welcome

Just as long as you don't openly practice this certain religion

Just as long as you're straight and not gay

Just as long as you're not taking job from hardworking "Americans"

But yes, you are free

How could anyone ask such a question?

How could anyone think otherwise?

We're all allowed to do as we please

Aren't we?

But what does that really mean?

It means you have to be like everyone else

You can't be different in any way

That's when you gain freedom

You must look like everyone else

You must act like everyone else

You must dress like everyone else

But why?

I thought America was the melting pot of the world

The land of the free

Home of the brave

Why else would people come all this way?

Wars

Starvation

Disease

America is too busy

Fighting off humans just like us

We don't even realize who the true enemy is

My country
