To Men

Who are you to blame me?

Do not push your suffering onto me.

A beautiful creature responsible for a suffering?

I might be.

I might have opened the box.

You would have broken it too.

Curiosity kills, dear.

You don’t realize.

When the terrible bits of emotion flew out,

Swarming around us,

And heavying our hearts,

When they flooded over the surface,

They swept over me,

Like a harbor wave

Drowning me

in the emotions

that you feel

a pinprick

of.
