Money's Grip

Dear Money,

Why do you get to have power over everyone?

You have the ability to control people's lives.

With out you people are driven to take a handgun,

But you also give them what they need to survive.

You can make people happy,

Or drive them to insanity.

It's what the world does with you,

Makes your value greater than humans too.

If you would dissapear forever,

Let go of your death grip of control,

This world as we know it would be so much better,

But something else would fill your hole.

Sincerly,

Maddie
