The Moon

You are the cold moon

With the stars you glow so bright

Freezing in the night

Even without the wind I shiver

I’m suffocating myself in layers, layers, layers

You’re sweating but you’re as cold as ice

By yourself you act brand new

Cocky, conceited, snotty, snobby

Drenching the sky with your misty, black aroma

Your bottled emotions conveyed through your tongue

Oh man, if looks could kill

Oh how you need the sun

You need the happiness that once filled your dreams

That once brought you hope every day

I hope you find your sun soon because

You are the cold moon

With the stars you glow so bright

Freezing in the night
