My Dear Mystery

Once upon a time a young beauty sleeps

And in her dreams she asks:

Are you out there?

My dear mystery

Because I am stuck

Fantastic misery

Waiting on your kiss

Are you merely a memory that my soul will miss?

Or a dream never meant to be?

Due to this endless sleep

Is it merely the different idea?

Or are the eyes from a different place?

A different time

A different face

Envelopes these thoughts and words

Trapped in a bubble, waiting to be heard

Just hoping someone could unleash

So the world may see what's hidden underneath

For my mind is far greater than my beauty

But no one ever mentions what a girl can think

They don't ask

They don't seek

Mr. Once upon a dream

Your eyes that I've seen on a different plane

Only you can unlock the mystery

For I too have a brain

Are you out there?

My dear mystery

Or just a fantasy created by these madiens?

A blessing and a curse

I hope that you'll free my mind

Seeing past all that is physical

Is possible on an astral plane

For this is where all is seen

For this is how you are known

Known to me....

My dear mystery
