My World

What would you do if money was valued more than a human life

How would you cope with being told that it is morally right

How can you fight something so unspoken and unseen

Would it be fatal to deny a government its greed

A government so corrupted by its aggressive need for power

Where they mentally rob you of independence while you cower

Is it possible to breath the air of their toxic way of living

When death is the penalty everyone is willingly giving

Come in with the heart of a lion, leave with the courage of a lamb

Survive with the ability and attitude of the damned

Secretly enslaved to your own fear

Hated and dead to everyone you hold dear

Eyes that used to sparkle with excitement, now are dull and lifeless

This wasn't hypothetical and you've just been enlightened
