Never Ending

We all can read. We all have the right to do as we please. But have you read your history books. The ones that described past racist looks?
Don't you remember your heart feeling heavy when you learned of the deaths caused. All those pictures in history just showed no pause. They wanted rights. We want rights.
The screaming and the jail. But never did they let their goals fail. Brave wonderful people. Went to plan and help change: hope as high as a steeple. Never again have we seen so much turmoil. People with huge hearts and skin like coal.
Never let the "white man" keep them down. Hope was alive all around. The signs they dared to defy. The enigmas of thier time. If only they can see today now. Knowing their work effected us all with only a wow.
Brave hearts and never ending souls. Even today only some wish to acomplish such goals. Sitting here writing this, i just want to say thanks. To those who fought, and risked, and cried, and bled to reach the ranks.
The ranks of equality and fairness. And being a white girl, i still feel blessed.
