Neverland

What’s the point of Neverland

If your problems seem so hard

And all you have to do

Is follow the second star

And go straight on through morning

Then everything will be fine

Because that’s the way the world works

You can just leave everything behind

You will never grow up

You will never go home

And you’ll never fall in love

Or care for something of your own

You’ll never feel rejection

You’ll never know what you have

What’s the point of Neverland

If you never feel sad

If there is no such thing as darkness

Then there is no such thing as light

We would never know of daytime

If there was no such thing as night

If you forget what happened yesterday

And your past just gets erased

Only bad things can come

And you’ll make the same mistakes

So what’s the point of Neverland

If you have a past you just forget

And you have to compare the present

To a future that won’t exist
