Never mind what I said before

because now I'm not sure

Never mind what they say

because they don't know us

Never mind how I felt

because that was the past

Never mind the past.

No, never mind that I said never mind the past

because the past is present

and the present will soon be our past

This never ending cycle of racism and discrimination

Sexism and micro-segregation

New word to you?

yea me too

What did Martin Luther King dream for

was that all, was it just a dream?

because if you look at us, we look as one

but in reality so many things separate us

There will always be differences between us

or will they, Nevermind.

Let us be the change we want to see

Let us make Martin Luther Kings dream a reality

Let us do as much as we can do

eliminate stereotypes of all ethnicities, and sexes

Nevermind all I just said because you weren't even listening

You never do.
