#NoFilter

The real me?

A great question really.

On the outside?

A beard, brown hair, an athlete.

On the inside?

Scared, insecure, and a hidden distance.

I don’t know what else I’m missing.

#NoFilter

So WHO am I?

It’d be a lot easier for someone else to say.

In all honesty,

I ask myself the same question every day.

Mondays I’m a conformist

Catering to the will of those above me.

Yet by the end of the week a radical,

Questioning the rules and foundations that we see.

So WHO am I?

A man when it’s convenient

A child when it’s not.

Stuck in the middle of a system that’s built against me

But needs to use me

Yet can’t see what I see

So I am stuck..

Stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and dreams

Waiting to “realize my full potential”

Yet I’m forced to wait and forced to learn

So hopefully I can get out of this hell-hole.

So again I ask,

WHO AM I?!?!

A student

A conformist.

A rebel

A leader.

Whatever you think,

It doesn’t matter

Because frankly

I’m me.

That’s all..
