Add substance to otherwise insubstantial chatter.

Color, sex, and gender

Are black and white, literally.

Social status and religion

Supposedly raise the few from perdition while damning the rest to the flames.

Am I supposed to

Flashback to algebra one,

Plug in gender for x,

Age for y,

And make a person?

A human? Is that how it works?

No.

Therefore

Why define ourselves

By numbers and categories

That don’t add up to,

Can’t add up to

Human.
