An Ode to Midnight Snacks

I ate a booger last night.

I admit it, you’re probably right.

It’s nothing terribly bad.

It makes no sense why you’re mad.

I ate a booger last night.

Its tenderness was sublime and just right,

The consistency: airy, puffy, and light.

The best nose snack I’ve ever had,

I ate a booger last night.

No shame in my game, everything’s alright.

Thinking of eating another, I might.

The thought of my indulgence makes me glad.

I won’t shrink back or be afraid but instead

No shame in my game, again I refrain:

I ATE A BOOGER LAST NIGHT!
