I imagine sometimes, it would bring me great joy

If only I could turn into a boy.

It seems they have it so easy, so much simpler than we

A boy is most surely a great thing to be.

No pretty, no flawless, no fancy hair do’s

No make-up or primping, no high-heeled shoes!

It would all be so easy, so simple indeed

A t-shirt and shorts are all I would need

Proper won’t be a problem, I’m born to have fun

For half of my time would be spent in the mud

I’d play xbox all day and Nintendo all night

Eat all I want and still stay super light

But is all worth it, to give it all up?

My sparkles and dresses and ribbons stuff?

I do like some things, about being a girl

Like painting my nails and my pretty pink pearls

I’d never give up my teddies, bunnies, and dolls

Or the fun times spent in shopping malls

So maybe it’s nice, maybe just staying me

Females have the upper hand, quite possibly

We can toss out the handy work and being covered in dirt

In fact I like having my flowing pink shirts.

I suppose that by now I’ve changed my mind

Now I’ve decided girls are just fine.

I plan to stay me, and work out the flaws

And keep to shimmering lotions and secret girl laws.
