Our Hopeful Red, White, & Blue

Tue, 05/09/2017 - 18:40 -- Hoshino

My Friends, Sam is at his greatest hour of need. / For our dearest Uncle's prosperity we must reaveFrom those who would threaten it. / Courageous Soldiers quiver under bedsheets, neglected. / Deluded Brownshirts emblazoned with Hammer & Sickle screech lies. / Killers, crooks, radical idealogues & the misfortunate slip in, undetected. / In favor for comfortable feelings, the most common of sense, dies. / Corrupt Aristocrats fawn over dictators, envying their control. / Bold Foundations crumble underneath a global power structure. / Lost Souls blindly follow the manipulators they extol, / Misleading all around them, the people's faith they rupture. / I look onwards, casting a quizzical look / At all the glaring problems politicians forsook / But as the Golden One arose, revelations were unveiled / The Promiser would halt the afflictions our country has suffered / Whose message rang true to the commoners, inner hopes had prevailed / Unprecedented actions to bring sweeping change unencumbered / A passion for respecting our nation's Borders / An understanding of the neccessity of our own common Language / A fierce protection of our unique & individual Culture / These key traits are pivotal for what's in store / To offer the people what they implore / To restore our America's greatness once more
