Our Planet is Dying

The earth, so cold, the people upon it made her that way.She gives and gives and all we do is take. It's a game of cat and mouse. We of course are the cat, greedy and In need of something warm and inviting. The mouse just wandering, not knowing what it is facing against. Its only a matter of time   Mother has been here for years. Years before our time. She did great, her complexion oozed of  flamboyant colors. That's was long ago, photographs don't even do her justice. It only took so little years and now she's bedridden.  The beginning to our deaththe only thing we knew was stable was the ground below us.Relationships always started off strong but with time most crumble. She didn't. She loved and provided for you. That kindness wasn't returned. Mother I have failed you. You're so strong and I so weak.Mother I love you with every breath I take. From every tree I see,you give me the strength to go. Mother I am killing you. From every piece of trash I leave for someone else to getKnowing that's just an excuse to do it myself.Mother I'm sorry. I didn't do enough. I didn't use my voice.I only did the bare minimum. Mother the photographs are fading. The memories, the ones worth keeping are burned up.Mother I will do better.Mother I love you
