Pain & Suffering

The pain a woman feels when she loses her daughter or son,
It's an excruciating pain that cannot be undone.
When she receives the phone call that any good mother regrets,
She remembers the day she used to braid her little girls hair with barrettes,
But what happens when the phone calls stop coming to encourage and comfort.
That family is still left without a son or daughter and no comfort,
What about Mike Brown's parents who are now sonless,
The people are rioting and acting heartless,
Towards all other races, officers, and the Caucasians.
Us African Americans all have this fire in our hearts that is blazing.
When we start acting off of instinct when we really don't know how the story end.
We need to stop and think before we make a move again.
Will you be the one to stand up and fight peacefully?
Or will you be one of the one's who protest violently!
No violence is not the key in these types of situations.
We need to think this over and start new foundations.
Yes I understand they want to rampage and go off on people and rage,
I understand that situations like this seem like they are bottled up in a cage.
But is violence the key to these problems we are causing?
No we just need to stop and pause man.
And think does Mike Brown's parents want to be the cause of all these riots?
I do not think so, they probably just want some time to grieve in peace and silence.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said "I Have A Dream!" but now I do too.
I want all of us to stop the violent protest and do what we are suppose to do.
We are suppose to have peaceful protest like they used to do back in the day,
Where if people had an issue they would boycott and march from day to day.
"I Have A Dream" that people will stop all unfair crimes that go unnoticed, and unpunished.
I know we all get fed up sometimes so I just throw up my hands and say "I'm done with this."
