Pals Pathway

Who better than my best friend

We stand next to each other in the long battle

Nerves eat us away on the first tee

Saying goodbye and goodluck

It feels as if I will never see him again

It’s not just a sport

To us, it's a passion

We hit on the range helping each other before it is time

I envy his talent for the game as he does for me

I watch him walk away to practice the putting greens

We listen as those tee off behind us

The crowd is so quiet you can hear the grasshoppers

My heart beat is so loud

I feel as if everyone is staring becuase of it

My whole body goes numb as I stand over the ball

I stay confident because I know state is an awakening

It feels like paradise as I stripe the fairway

We work together

We play together

We practice together

We dream together
