Paper thin

My heart is paper thin,

So thin I can't hear it flutter,

Your eyes,

Like shards of glass,

Broke my broken heart.

Can I hold onto you,

When your toxic,

It begins to flood my veins?

I will try still.

My heart it beats out,

Of its cage,

As your glassy eyes,

They sink into my skin.

But I am paper thin.

So thin, I vow to tear.

                                      ~S

So thin, I vow to tear.
