Peppermint

Red and white striped in a shape of a wheel,

a wheel that can drive me craving for ones loving feels,

From the middle it is all pink dyed,

as though it can describe my deep hurt feelings from the inside,

It fell and all I heard was a soft tap,

I fell and ended with my heart flat,

it has that sweet smell of peppermint,

oh how I’d wish to be as alluring when It came to love,

It’s true, I’m jealous, its sides are much smoother than my love life,

and the taste just happens to be much sweeter than my ex who’s a cheater,

I’ll be honest and I think you’d agree,

with the love candy receive,

this peppermint is what I’d rather wish to be.
