Petals Of The Past

Location

I walk a trail amongst the clouds,

A path yet to be taken,

The dreams I dream abound,

The things I say out loud

Are left to be forsaken.

The unvanquished trail, I walk thee

luminous by the moonlight

The person I wish to be

The reflection I choose to see

Justiced through the night.

A cherry blossom tree, i am set to see

Wilting Wonders not remembered

The silience is peacfully

closing in blisfully

as fire fades into ember.

Laid upon plush grass, next to my fate

I tickle the memories once felt

My dream is nothing to escape

I embrace the drape

Appraising the beauty of my veldt.

I walked a trail amongst the clouds,

A path already taken

The dreams i dreamt abound

The things i said outloud

were never to be forasken.

I drop and sway through the air

Fluttering hues hallowed bright

At the bottom there,

I land in a hand, cared

For and held so tight.
